2022-2023 Academic Year Tuition Fee and Enrollment Information for NEW international and transfer undergraduate students

To complete your Registration as a new international student or transfer student, you need to pay the full tuition for the 1st semester. Students who fail to make payment in compliance with these procedures, will not be able to enroll.

If you are admitted with a full tuition scholarship (100% scholarship) this will be notified to the Student Accounting team so that you are allowed to enroll in your first semester courses.

1. NEW INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS WITHOUT TURKISH CITIZENSHIP

Eligibility to pay in Turkish Lira and tuition amounts

• Turkish Citizenship students who will make the payment in TL need to present the official document showing their Turkish Citizenship in their online application.
• Students who present their Blue Card (“Mavi Kart”) received from the Ministry of Interior are also allowed pay their tuition in Turkish Lira.
• Koç University tuition fees in Turkish Lira are determined and announced on a semester basis. Fall semester tuition fees are announced in July and Spring semester tuition fees are announced in January.
• If only the Fall payment is made during the University registration period, there may be an increase (with limited inflation rate of July – December) for the Spring semester to be announced in January 2023.

 

• The annual tuition fee covers the courses in the Fall and Spring semesters and if the payment is made during the University registration period for one year, the fee will cover both the Fall and Spring semesters.

Important notes regarding payment in installments:

• Applications should be made to the Yapı Kredi and Koçfinans institutions no later than 30 August, 2022.
• As internal assessment processes of these institutions take time, it is important that the transactions are started as soon as possible and completed by the end of the enrolment period.

 

• It is important that the installment payments are deposited into the account that is stated by the financial institutions who provided the loan. Daily interest can be accrued to these amounts which are not deposited into the account specified by the financial institutions.

 

• Parents preffering the installment payment option must select only one of these financial institutions: Yapı Kredi Bankası or Koç Finans. In case of approval by both institutions, double payment shall occur.

 

• Along with the installment payment schedule presented to you by Koç University, you are also entitled to use “Education/Personal Finance Loan” with various maturity and payment terms from any financial institution you prefer. However, this amount should be paid completely to Koç University.

5. TUITION FEE DISCOUNTS

The types of payment discounts applied to tuition fees are:

Koç Group employee child	10%	Parent should be currently employed by a Koç Group company. Can’t be used along with Koç High School, Koç Retirement Fund or Koç Group discounts
Koç Group retired employee child	10%	Parent should be retired after working for 20 years in Koç Group companies. Partial discount will be calculated on a yearly basis for the children whose parents retired after working 11-20 years (can not be used along with Koç High School, Koç Retirement and Koç Group discounts)
