Dear Parents / Students,

The enrolment period for the Spring Semester of the 2021-2022 Academic Year shall start on Monday January 31, 2022 and end on Monday February 14, 2022 at 17:00 hrs. In order for the enrolment transactions to be carried out, tuition payment must be completed according to the following procedures.

1 – Payment Options:

There are two payment options: cash payment (at once at the bank) or payment in installments. Payment in installment can be made only through financial institutions. The tuition for the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year are presented below according to the scholarship rates and the undergraduate programs.

  • Cash Payment Option:

It shall not be possible to make the tuition payment via bank transfer. Instead, it shall be possible to make payments only through the internet with the contracted banks. Bank and payment details are as follows:

Students who fail to make payment in compliance with these procedures, will not be able to enrol.

Tuition is the same for all undergraduate programs at Koç University, excluding the Faculty of Medicine

*School of Medicine students that have been awarded 50% scholarship and who will study in ELC (English Language Center) shall pay TL 27,500 which is 50% of the undergraduate tuition with 50% support scholarship.

  • Yapı ve Kredi Bankası (an “Online School Payments System” has been set up between Yapı Kredi Bankası and Koç University. You may apply online through for the Education in Installments System TEST

Students can make a payment schedule according to the below mentioned payment terms by choosing one of the above mentioned two financial institutions which have a contractual relationship with Koç University.

1.2.1. Actions to be taken in the installment system:

  • Applications should be made to the Yapı Kredi and Koçfinans institutions no later than by Monday, February 14, 2021.
  • For paying in installments: As internal assessment processes of these institutions take time, it is important that the transactions are started as soon as possible and completed by the end of the enrolment period.

Important Notes for Installment:

  • It is important that the installment payments are deposited into the account that is stated by the financial institutions who provided the loan. Daily interest can be accrued to these amounts which are not deposited into the account specified by the financial institutions.
  • Parents preffering the installment payment option must select only one of these financial institutions: Yapı Kredi Bankası or Koç Finans. In case of approval by the both institutions, double payment shall occur.
  • Along with the installment payment schedule presented to you by Koç University, you are also entitled to use “Education/Personal Finance Loan” with various maturity and payment terms from any financial institution you prefer. However, this amount should be paid completely to Koç University as stated in Article 1.1 “Cash Payment Alternative”.

2 – Other Important Issues

The types of payment applied in the tuitions are as follow;

  • Discount is applied in the following manner: 10% to the children of those who are currently employed in the Koç Group companies, (*)
  • Discount of 10% for the children whose parents have retired after working for 20 years in Koç Group companies and partial discount to be calculated on a yearly basis to the children whose parents retired after working 11-20 years.(*)
  • Discount of 5% is applied for each student during the period in which the siblings study together in Koç University.

* It cannot be used along with Koç High School, Koç Retirement and Koç Group discounts.
